SoundPass introduces an innovative approach to respiratory wellness with its all-digital, early-warning app designed to measure your Forced Cough Vocalization (FCV) Impact Score, a vital health metric.

How It Works

The SoundPass app employs advanced AI technology to detect and quantify your FCV Impact Score. Users can easily get started by downloading the app and creating an account. The process begins by coughing into the app several times to establish a personal Baseline, which is unique to each individual.

For ongoing self-monitoring, users cough into the app at their convenience. SoundPass compares this current cough against the established Baseline to identify any changes. When no alterations are found, the app provides an Authentication message along with a QR code for verification by businesses using accompanying software. If changes are detected, users receive alerts to encourage proactive health management.

This application supports daily use—multiple checks within a single day are feasible—delivering results within approximately two minutes. While akin to a vehicle's check engine light, it should be noted that SoundPass does not diagnose specific causes or illnesses but rather indicates that a variation has occurred.

The Science of SoundPass

Biometric security methodologies leverage distinctive physical or behavioral traits for identity verification. SoundPass users generate a unique Baseline signature by coughing into the app, akin to a fingerprint. Following the establishment of this signature, self-checks can be performed at any time, yielding results in under two minutes.

The cough data submitted transforms into spectrograms via specialized processing tools. Proprietary algorithms analyze frequency signatures and timing, utilizing AI/ML techniques aimed at detecting subtle variations against the user's Baseline.

Maintaining respiratory wellness is crucial for overall health. SoundPass serves as a valuable self-assessment tool focused on respiratory function, providing reassurance in today’s climate. While it cannot diagnose or pinpoint underlying issues that might result in a “Not Authenticated” notification—such as exposure to pathogens or toxins—it fosters awareness and vigilance regarding respiratory health.
